When should players start the event?
Players should begin the event after 10:00 server time on September 24, 2026, because the announcement identifies this as the event’s launch time. Starting promptly is particularly useful for anyone who wants to secure the event-exclusive weapon and other limited-time rewards without leaving event progress until the final days.
Silver Light Is the Main Event-Exclusive Reward
The biggest confirmed reward from the event is Silver Light, an event-exclusive Sword. Unlike the general reward pool, Silver Light is specifically identified as a weapon tied to the “Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon” event.
The official announcement states that players can obtain Silver Light by completing event quests. This makes event progression particularly important for players who collect limited weapons or want to preserve a record of their event-exclusive Genshin Impact equipment.
Silver Light and other rewards
Silver Light is not the only reward available through the event. The official announcement also confirms Primogems and a Crown of Insight, along with additional rewards not individually listed in the supplied announcement.
| Reward Category | Confirmed Reward | How It Is Obtained |
|---|---|---|
| Event-exclusive weapon | Silver Light (Sword) | Complete event quests |
| Premium currency | Primogems | Complete event content |
| Talent-related item | Crown of Insight | Complete event content |
| Additional rewards | Other event rewards | Event participation and progression |
Because the announcement does not provide the full reward breakdown, do not assume individual quantities from the overview alone. Players seeking exact totals should refer to subsequent official event details, if published.
How to Participate in Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon
Participation centers on event quests, with quest completion directly tied to the rewards highlighted in the official announcement. Players should therefore check the event interface after the September 24 launch time and follow the available objectives.
The announcement does not include the full quest sequence, Adventure Rank requirement, unlock conditions, or individual stages. Verify those details through the game’s event interface or additional official instructions rather than inferring them from the overview.
What players should prepare
Players preparing for the event should primarily make sure they can access Genshin Impact after the event opens. Since the event begins at a precise server-time window, checking the correct server schedule is more useful than relying on a general local release time.
It is also worth tracking event objectives as they become available. Limited-time events can distribute rewards through multiple stages or quest requirements, so completing only the initial introduction may not necessarily represent the full progression path.
Moonchase Festival Returns With a New Event
The Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon event is tied to the Moonchase Festival, making the event part of Genshin Impact’s recurring seasonal celebration. The official introduction directly welcomes Travelers back to the festival and frames the new activity as an invitation to join.
The Moonchase connection also gives the event a broader seasonal context. Rather than functioning as an isolated reward announcement, “Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon” is presented as part of the festival experience, with its own limited-time weapon and reward structure.
Why the event-exclusive weapon matters
An event-exclusive weapon can be particularly significant for collectors because its availability is tied to a specific limited-time activity. Silver Light is therefore more than another reward listed alongside Primogems; it is the key collectible associated with this event announcement.
At Animon Life, event-exclusive Genshin Impact releases are also useful reference points when tracking the wider licensed merchandise landscape around major characters, weapons, and seasonal campaigns. This type of event information can help distinguish in-game promotional content from officially licensed physical merchandise.
