What Is the Genshin Impact Anniversary Memories Album?
The Anniversary Memories Album celebrates the experiences that make a long adventure memorable. Its official description reflects on the beautiful sights players encounter, the dangerous situations they overcome, and the moments that make continuing the journey worthwhile.
Rather than focusing on combat statistics or character abilities, the announcement takes a broader view of the Genshin Impact experience. It recognizes exploration, discovery, and companionship as important parts of the game.
A Wallpaper Collection Inspired by Exploration
The wallpapers highlight the idea of revisiting memorable moments from a Traveler’s journey. Genshin Impact features varied environments, distinctive landmarks, and locations that players gradually discover as they progress through the world.
These settings help give each stage of the adventure its own identity. A familiar landscape can remind players of a story chapter, a difficult encounter, or a memorable visit to a particular region.
The official announcement describes the wallpapers as a way to preserve special moments from the journey. However, it does not identify each image individually. Players should check the original gallery to view the artwork and identify which locations or characters appear in each wallpaper.
Why Companionship Is Central to the Theme
The phrase “best companions” places friendship and shared experiences at the center of the collection. Companions are central to Genshin Impact, both in its character-driven storytelling and in the teams players build for exploration and combat.
The announcement also recalls moments when Travelers overcame dangerous challenges. This gives the collection a theme that extends beyond beautiful scenery. The journey includes both peaceful discoveries and difficult experiences, making the memories meaningful for different reasons.
HoYoverse closes its message by encouraging players to continue adventuring together. The wallpapers therefore serve as a reminder of past experiences while looking ahead to future discoveries.
How to View the Official Anniversary Wallpapers
Players can view the Anniversary Memories Album directly on the official Genshin Impact website. The announcement includes the wallpaper gallery and provides the collection's source.

Read the announcement to understand the collection's theme.
Scroll through the gallery to view the available wallpapers.
Open an image to check the viewing or saving options your browser or device provides.
To share the collection, use the official page as your reference.
The announcement doesn't state the exact image dimensions, available resolutions, or device-specific download instructions. Check the original gallery for the options available with each image.
Which Devices Can You Use the Wallpapers On?
The announcement presents the images as wallpapers but does not list supported devices or provide a complete resolution guide. Suitability depends on each image's dimensions and orientation.
| Device or Use | What to Check |
|---|---|
| Desktop or Laptop | Look for an image resolution that suits your monitor and desktop layout. |
| Mobile Phone | Check whether the image fits your screen's portrait orientation. |
| Tablet | Compare the image dimensions with your tablet's display ratio. |
| Social Media Sharing | Review the platform's image requirements and any applicable usage guidance. |
| Personal Wallpaper Collection | Save the image using the options available on the official page. |
For the clearest result, choose an image that fits your display without excessive cropping or stretching. If an image looks blurry after you set it as your wallpaper, check whether a higher-resolution version is available.
Is the Anniversary Memories Album a New Genshin Impact Event?
The announcement confirms no new gameplay event. HoYoverse presents the Anniversary Memories Album as a wallpaper collection and does not announce a new quest, combat challenge, or playable activity in the accompanying text.
The distinction matters because Genshin Impact announcements can cover several types of content. A post about a wallpaper collection should not be treated as a new event notice unless the official source explicitly confirms gameplay activities.
The October 5, 2026, publication date indicates when the announcement was posted. It does not, by itself, establish an event duration or a deadline for collecting in-game rewards.
Are Primogems or Other In-Game Rewards Included?
The announcement does not list Primogems, Mora, character materials, weapons, or other in-game rewards. It states that the offering is the wallpaper collection.
Players should not assume that viewing the gallery grants an in-game item or requires completing a quest. If HoYoverse publishes a separate reward campaign, its own announcement should provide the relevant eligibility rules and instructions.
Is a Specific Game Version Required?
The wallpaper announcement does not specify a game version. It also doesn't state that players must update their game or complete a specific Archon Quest before viewing the collection.
The official website is the appropriate source for the gallery. Players who want to check version-specific activities should consult the corresponding version notices rather than infer update details from this wallpaper release.
Where Can Genshin Impact Players Discuss the Wallpaper Collection?
HoYoverse encourages Travelers to join the discussion through Genshin Impact’s official social media and community channels. These platforms let players follow official posts, view related content, and join community conversations.
The announcement names six destinations:
TikTok: Official short-form videos and visual content.
X (formerly Twitter): Official updates and public discussions.
Facebook: Community posts and game announcements.
YouTube: Official videos and other published content.
HoYoLAB: HoYoverse’s community platform for game-related posts and discussions.
Reddit: Community discussion through the official Genshin Impact Reddit channel referenced by HoYoverse.
Use the official links on the Genshin Impact website to find these channels. This helps avoid confusing official accounts with fan pages or unrelated profiles.
For players who follow gaming merchandise and collectible releases, Animon Life also provides context for the wider gaming merchandise market. However, this wallpaper announcement doesn't identify the collection as a physical product or confirm it is available through any retailer.
Why This Wallpaper Release Matters to Long-Time Travelers
The Anniversary Memories Album lets players revisit the visual side of their Genshin Impact experience. Its theme connects familiar scenery with the challenges and companions that shape a Traveler’s progress.
For long-time players, a particular landscape may recall an important story moment or a region explored during an earlier stage of the game. Newer players can also appreciate the collection as a visual introduction to the sense of discovery that defines Genshin Impact.
The announcement doesn't require players to complete a specific achievement or reach a certain Adventure Rank to appreciate the gallery. It is presented as a community-facing wallpaper release rather than a progression-based activity.
As with other official content, the original announcement remains the best reference for the collection’s confirmed details. Players should check future HoYoverse posts for any additional wallpaper releases, usage guidance, or related announcements.
