Love and Deepspace: Rafayel’s Masked Dissolution Memory, Wish Milestones, and Event Rewards
Rafayel: Masked Dissolution is a limited 5-Star interactive Memory featured in the Po Zhen Zi event in Love and Deepspace. It joins Rafayel: Masked Radiance as part of a Solar-Slot Memory Pair, with both Memories available through the event’s Limited Wish Pool.
The story focuses on fate, sacrifice, and Rafayel’s struggle to help the player escape a path shaped by hatred. Beyond the narrative, the event offers a Companion unlock and additional combat resources at specific wish milestones.

Rafayel: Masked Dissolution Explores Fate and Sacrifice
Masked Dissolution presents a darker, more conflicted side of Rafayel through a story about breaking free from hatred and obsession. The Memory describes two people connected by fate, with one taking on a painful path in the other’s place.
The narrative suggests their bond remains intact despite their circumstances. A soul anchor keeps them together, while Rafayel refuses to accept a destiny that would trap the player in suffering.
The scene shifts from a blade-filled confrontation to a quieter moment amid falling autumn leaves. As the conflict subsides, the player helps Rafayel put aside his relentless desire to fight. The emotional focus shifts from battle to the possibility of freedom.
His closing words, “When autumn wind stirs… When we… Meet again…”, leave the scene with a sense of separation and hope.
What Does Masked Dissolution Add to Rafayel’s Story?
The Memory places emotional conflict at the center of Rafayel’s character development. Instead of presenting him only as a fighter, it explores the personal cost of his determination and the relationship that motivates him.
Three details stand out in the announcement:
Fate and connection: The soul anchor represents a bond that persists despite the characters’ struggles.
Conflict and sacrifice: The player takes on a path of hatred in Rafayel’s place, while he attempts to guide the player away from it.
Release from obsession: The scene’s quieter ending shifts attention from fighting to the possibility of moving forward.
These themes distinguish Masked Dissolution from a story centered entirely on victory. It focuses on what happens after conflict and whether the characters can escape the forces that keep them bound to it.

| Featured Memory 2 | Rafayel: Masked Radiance |

| Wish Pool Closes | August 31 at 04:59 server time |
| Pair Selection Milestone | 150 wishes |
| Companion Reward | Rafayel: Vermilion Martial God |
The 150-wish guarantee is the main target for players seeking the complete Memory Pair and Companion. The 175- and 200-wish milestones provide additional enhancement resources for those who continue along the wish track.
What Should Players Check Before Making Wishes?
Players should review the detailed event rules before committing their saved resources. The announcement directs readers to a separate event preview for the specific wish conditions.
The 150-wish guarantee provides a useful planning benchmark, but the supplied announcement does not include every rule needed to calculate an individual player’s remaining requirements. Players should verify their current progress, selection options, and reward eligibility in the game.
The additional Protocore milestones are especially relevant to players focused on combat progression. Those mainly interested in Rafayel’s story may prioritize the featured Memories and Companion instead.
Rafayel: Vermilion Martial God and Protocore Rewards
The featured Memory Pair also unlocks Rafayel: Vermilion Martial God through the announced 150-wish guarantee. This Companion is key to the event because the reward track extends beyond story content.
Players can receive max-level SSR Protocore α and β sets at 175 and 200 wishes. According to the announcement, these items are intended to help improve Vermilion Martial God’s combat capabilities.
Protocores contribute to combat customization in Love and Deepspace. However, the announcement doesn't list the specific stat values, bonuses, or effects of these rewards. Players should check the in-game item descriptions for details before planning a build.
Are the Later Wish Milestones Necessary?
The 175- and 200-wish milestones are additional rewards, not the main requirement for the announced Memory Pair and Companion guarantee. Their value depends on whether a player wants the extra combat resources and has enough wishes available.
Players should distinguish between collecting both featured Memories and pursuing every reward on the track. The first goal centers on the 150-wish guarantee, while the later milestones add Protocore sets.
This distinction helps players set a clear resource target instead of treating every milestone as equally important.
Skyvault Afar: Free Rafayel Memories and Diamonds
Skyvault Afar offers a separate set of free rewards, including two 4-Star Solar-Slot Memories, 10 limited Deepspace Wishes, and 500 Diamonds. These rewards give players another way to expand their Rafayel collection alongside the limited 5-Star event.
The official announcement lists the following items:
| Reward | Quantity or Details |
|---|---|
| Rafayel: Skyflame Reach | 4-Star Solar-Slot Memory |
| Rafayel: Skyflame Expanse | 4-Star Solar-Slot Memory |
| Deepspace Wish: Limited | 10 |
| Diamonds | 500 |
| Additional Rewards | Other event items |
How Skyvault Afar Fits Into the Event
Skyvault Afar is the event to check for the announced free rewards. Unlike the limited 5-Star Memories in the Po Zhen Zi Wish Pool, these items are presented as rewards for participating in the event.
The supplied announcement does not provide the full task list, claim conditions, or exact event duration for Skyvault Afar. Players should therefore consult the in-game event page for eligibility requirements and deadlines.
Collecting these rewards can help players build their inventory without relying entirely on the limited Wish Pool. However, the free rewards do not replace the separate 150-wish guarantee for the featured 5-Star Memory Pair and Companion.
Animon Life and Love and Deepspace Collecting
The Masked Dissolution announcement concerns digital game content, not a confirmed physical merchandise release. This distinction helps fans looking for the new Memory, Companion, or collectibles associated with Rafayel.
Animon Life matters to the broader official merchandise conversation for North American collectors. Still, the Memories, Diamonds, Wishes, and Protocore rewards listed here belong to the game’s digital event system. The announcement does not confirm a physical product specifically tied to Masked Dissolution.
Fans interested in character-themed merchandise should check product listings and licensing details separately from in-game event notices. This helps distinguish official digital rewards from physical collectibles inspired by the same franchise.
Final Thoughts
Rafayel: Masked Dissolution combines an emotionally focused Memory story with a limited collection event and Companion progression. Its central themes are fate, sacrifice, and the struggle to leave obsession behind, while the Po Zhen Zi reward track gives players clear milestones for collecting both featured Memories.
Players seeking the complete pair should review the 150-wish guarantee, while those pursuing combat enhancements can consider the additional Protocore rewards at 175 and 200 wishes. Skyvault Afar provides a separate opportunity to collect free Rafayel-themed items.
Animon Life continues to follow official merchandise releases and related collecting news for North American customers.
