[Important Notice] Age Verification Requirement for U.S. Players

Dear Proxies,

To comply with local legal requirements and to better protect your privacy in Zenless Zone Zero, an age verification system will be rolled out for players in the United States starting from June 30, 2025.

U.S. players will be required to complete age verification when logging in to an existing account or registering a new one.

Young players will need to obtain parental consent to access Zenless Zone Zero and to use in-game community features. Parents can manage these permissions via the Parental Control Portal. Additional parental controls for payment permission in Zenless Zone Zero will be available soon.

How Do I Verify My Age?

From June 30th, U.S. players will be required to enter their age when logging into the game or registering a new account. Please submit your age in the age verification page.

Note:

1. This feature will be gradually rolled out and will be fully active for all U.S. players by July 18, 2025. The exact timing of when the prompt appears may vary by user.

2. If your HoYoverse account has already completed age verification in another HoYoverse product, you will not need to verify again. But separate consent for accessing Zenless Zone Zero and enabling in-game community features will be required for young players.

Why Is This Required?

In compliance with U.S. law, we are required to verify the age of US players.

Failure to complete the age verification process, the affected accounts will result in the following:

1. Account suspension starting July 18, 2025.

2. No further notifications after suspension, as account data will become inaccessible under legal requirements.

3. Permanent deletion of all personal data if verification is not completed within 12 months of suspension.

What happens if I don't verify my age by July 18, 2025?

If age verification is not completed by July 18, 2025 (EDT), the affected Ho Yoverse accounts will be suspended, and the personal data associated with the account will be permanently deleted if the verification is still not completed within one year of suspension. No further notifications will be sent during the suspension period due to personal data access restrictions.

To avoid account suspension and data loss, we strongly recommend that you complete the age verification process as soon as possible.
