A preorder reserves an official item before it has been produced or delivered to us. At Animon Life, preorder products have "*Preorder*" in the name and list an estimated release date (when the manufacturer releases it) and an estimated ship date (when we expect to ship it to you, usually one to three months later). Your preorder ships once the stock arrives at our California warehouse.
Quick facts
- How to spot one: "*Preorder*" in the product title
- Release date vs ship date: release is the maker's date; ship date is when it leaves us
- Order separately: an order ships only when every item in it has arrived
- Delays: posted on the product listing
- Price: includes US tariffs; what you pay at checkout is final
Why are release date and ship date different?
After the manufacturer releases an item, it still has to be shipped to the US, received and checked. For example, the Columbina 1/8 scale figure has a November 2026 release and an estimated January 2027 ship date. Dates around Chinese New Year often slip because factories and freight pause.
Why should I order preorders separately?
An order ships when every item in it is ready. If you combine an in-stock keychain with a figure shipping in three months, the keychain waits too. Place separate orders so in-stock items ship right away.
What does "preorder full" or "sold out" on a preorder mean?
Retailers receive a set allocation. When ours is filled, the preorder closes. If more units are allocated later, they go back on the same product page.
Can I cancel a preorder?
Contact us through the contact page with your order number. Unopened returns are accepted within 15 days of delivery; apparel and sale items are final sale.
