How to Redeem Genshin Impact Codes: Website and In-Game Steps (2026)

You can redeem Genshin Impact codes two ways: on the official redemption page at genshin.hoyoverse.com/en/gift, or in game under Paimon Menu > Settings > Account > Redeem Code. You need a HoYoverse Account and a character on the server you pick, and most codes require Adventure Rank 10. Rewards arrive in your in-game mail.

Quick facts

• Website: genshin.hoyoverse.com/en/gift
• In game: Paimon Menu > Settings > Account > Redeem Code
• Requirement: Adventure Rank 10
• Each code works once per account; expired codes don't work
• Rewards: sent to in-game mail

How do I redeem a Genshin Impact code on the website?

1. Open the official redemption page and log in with your HoYoverse Account.
2. Select your server (America, Europe, Asia or TW/HK/MO).
3. Paste the code with no spaces before or after it.
4. Click Redeem, then open your in-game mail to collect the rewards.

How do I redeem a code in game?

1. Go to Paimon Menu > Settings > Account > Redeem Code.
2. Enter the code and confirm.
3. Collect the rewards from your mail.

Why is my Genshin Impact code not working?

• Too early in the game: most codes need Adventure Rank 10.
• Expired or used up: codes have end dates, and some stop early after reaching a usage limit.
• Already used: each code (and each code type) works once per account.
• Extra spaces: a space before or after the code makes it invalid.
• Wrong region: codes for the China servers don't work on global servers, and the reverse.
• Wrong server selected: rewards go to the character on the server you chose.

Where do new Genshin Impact codes come from?

HoYoverse releases codes during version livestreams, on official social accounts and during events. Livestream codes usually expire within about a day, so redeem them quickly. We cover each version's livestream codes on our news blog.
