To delete a HoYoverse Account, log in to the HoYoverse Account Center, open Personal Information, and click Request to Delete Account, then verify your identity. The account enters a 30-day confirmation period; logging in during those 30 days cancels the request. After 30 days, the account and all its game data are permanently deleted.

Step by step
- Go to account.hoyoverse.com and log in.
- Select Personal Information in the left menu.
- Click Request to Delete Account in the bottom-right corner.
- Follow the prompts to verify your identity and confirm.
Can I delete only my Genshin Impact data?
No. HoYoverse says it isn't possible to delete data from a single game. Deleting the account removes data from Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero and every other linked game and service, including purchased items.
How do I cancel a deletion request?
Log in to your account any time during the 30-day period. That cancels the request and reactivates the account automatically.
Alternatives to deleting
- Want a fresh start? Create a character on another server with the same account. Progress is separate per server; see servers and UID.
- Worried about security? Change your password and email instead: change your HoYoverse password and change your HoYoverse email.
